BrandOffice Error: An error occurred while performing Task - Cannot start process because a file name has not been provided
This error is often associated with a corruption of the database file which stores all the BrandOffice toolbar templates. If a simple resync has not resolved the problem, please ask your administrator to
"Force a Sync" to your profile.
Then perform a manual sync by clicking on
Synchronize Data:
If the problem still persists, the fix is to delete the database file completely. Please do not worry, the database file will be recreated during the next sync.
In order to delete the BrandOffice database file, follow the steps below:
1. Locate the BrandOffice database file via file explorer (BrandOffice.db). The easiest way to do this is to go to your BrandOffice settings and copy the path under "Database Location"
2. Delete the file called BrandOffice.db (only this file, not the folder!)
3. Resync the BrandOffice toolbar, by clicking "Sync Data"
This will recreate the complete BrandOffice database file and eliminate any corrupted files.
Please note that the sync will take a little longer than normal since all your templates will be resynced to your workstation from scratch.
