BrandOffice: An error occurred while loading the toolbars
BrandOffice: An error occurred while loading the toolbars - unable to cast object of type 'LiteDB.DataPage' to type 'LiteDB.CollectionPage'.
This error is often associated with a corruption of the database file which stores all the BrandOffice toolbar templates.
Firstly attempt to manually resync the toolbars by going to "Sync Data". If the error still persists, the following message will display below:
If the problem still persist the fix is to delete the database file completely. Please do not worry, the database file will be recreated during the next sync.
In order to delete the BrandOffice database file, follow the steps below:
1. Locate the BrandOffice database file (BrandOffice.db). The easiest way to do this is to go to your BrandOffice settings and copy the path under "Database Location"
2. Delete the file called BrandOffice.db
3. Resync the BrandOffice toolbar, by clicking "Sync Data"
This will recreate the complete BrandOffice database file and eliminate any corrupted files.
Please note that the sync will take a little longer than normal since all your templates will be resynced to your workstation from scratch.
