Upgrade BrandMail Web for Microsoft 365

This article shows Microsoft 365 administrators how to upgrade the BrandMail Web add-in for assigned Outlook users.

BrandMail Web brands emails as users compose them, without rerouting mail. It works alongside BrandMail Lite and can be used with BrandMail Desktop. It supports Outlook Online, Outlook Classic, Outlook Mobile, Outlook for Mac and new Outlook for Windows.

Before you begin

Have access to the Microsoft 365 admin centre and the BrandMail Web manifest link in the Admin Console.

Steps

Find BrandMail Web

Open the Microsoft 365 admin centre and sign in.
Select Show all.
Select Settings.
Select Integrated apps. You can also open Integrated apps in the Microsoft 365 admin centre directly.
Find the BrandMail Web row and select its Edit Row button.
Select Edit users.
Select the Overview tab.

Update the manifest file

Select Update add-in.
Select Provide link to manifest file.
Copy the BrandMail Web manifest link from the Download Url column on the Admin Console SOFTWARE UPDATE page.
Paste the link into the Provide link to manifest file field.
Select Validate.
Select Next once the manifest file has been validated.

Complete the update

Review the permissions and select Accept and update.
Select Done once deployment is complete.
